How it works





Who can sell on Spend With Us?

Spend With Us - Buy From A Bush Business marketplace is a platform for small businesses that:

  • have 20 employees or less AND
  • are located in a rural or regional area of Australia AND/OR
  • have been significantly affected by bushfire, drought or coronavirus (Covid-19).

( To be eligible to register on Spend With Us, we define rural and regional to be: your business address is NOT located within 50 kilometres of a major metropolitan city (Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Hobart or Darwin), or within 20 km of a town with a population greater than 100'000 )

Exceptions to this are any sellers from drought affected regions as classified by the Queensland government in the latest drought situation map and shire listing available to view here:

These currently include but are not limited to the following drought affected towns and regions:

  • Toowoomba
  • Townsville
  • Rockhampton
  • Ipswich
  • Gladstone
  • Sunshine Coast
  • Noosa

If your business does not meet the above criteria, but has been significantly affected by bushfires, please apply to join our Bushfire Support Plan and we will review your application.

How can I be paid for my orders?

All Spend With Us sellers are able to set up their own storefront and list products for free. To accept online payments all you need is a PayPal account. PayPal is a secure and instant way of buyers paying for their order. Before being able to be paid by PayPal, if you haven't already, you need to set up a PayPal account on the PayPal website, visit for more information.

We want you to receive your money as quickly as possible. As soon as you receive notification of a sale from your Spend With Us store, you can withdraw the payment into your PayPal account. There is no need to wait.

Payment withdrawals are processed within 48 hours of request during our work week, 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday AEST.

What can I sell on Spend With Us?

Spend With Us allows any eligible small business in rural or regional Australia to list on their marketplace and directory. 

We allow home businesses, retail shops, service based businesses, accommodation or activities/event businesses and more.

We allow liquor based businesses to create a directory listing and sell vouchers for their products but we DO NOT allow the direct sale of any liquor based goods through our site.  If you are a liquor business, please ensure you have your liquor licence visible on your store listing and each product listing you create.

I have my own website, why should I also sell on Spend With Us?

We bring your business and products sales and traffic!  Our loyal fanbase of customers on and off of social media are looking for unique, personal and different products for sale from rural and regional businesses. Your products are seen by around 1 million people on Facebook through our page and group every month, with our following growing at a rapid rate.

We focus our advertising on getting customers to your products so you don't have to!   We run Facebook, Instagram and Google Adverts. All products on Spend With Us that meet Facebook and Google’s specifications are included in this service for free.

Spend with Us isn’t just a platform, it’s a community. With a dedicated Facebook Group just for our Sellers. Community is at the heart of what we do. Inside the Facebook Group you will find other like minded rural & regional business owners, us (the founders) in there to answer any of your questions, weekly marketing tips to help you become more profitable and market your store and so much more.
