Absolutely. All payments are created and held securely by Stripe or the PayPal payment gateway. PayPal is a PCI-compliant payment provider, which means they meet the highest standards for security. Stripe is used by millions of companies from new startups to public companies to accept payments and manage their businesses online.

When you shop on Spend With Us you shop directly with the small business themselves. We provide them with the platform to create a free online store that allows them to build exposure for their business, reach new customers and receive online sales. Your purchase and communication is made directly with the Seller through our platform. You can be assured that your money is going directly to the business in need.

If you place an order for a product on our website, you are placing any order directly with the Seller of the product, and not us. This website is just an intermediary platform.  If you have any issues with a purchase, please contact the Seller directly for a resolution. If a Seller accepts your order for the purchase of a product, then an agreement is formed between you and the Seller and you have rights directly and only against the Seller, and not against Spend With Us. We are not a party to that agreement.

If you place an order for a Product on our website (a “Product”), you are placing any order with the Seller of the Product, and not us. Please contact the Seller directly prior to purchasing if the shipping and delivery terms and costs are not clear on their listing.  Spend With Us will not be involved or held liable in any disputes involving shipping or receipt of products listed through this website.  Any purchase or communication about products is to be made directly with the Seller.

Seller FAQ's

It’s so easy – all you need is a PayPal account.  If you don’t already have one you can get one by clicking here

Select the Open a Store button and go to our membership plan page.  Choose a plan and complete the registration form. Your application will be
approved by one of our team and you will then be redirected to our Store Creation Wizard which will
walk you through creating your store page.

Make sure you have a logo or photos handy that you can use to upload and show off your business.

We have several membership plans available – Essentials, VIP, Flood Support Plan and Bushfire Support Plan. Click here to choose which one suits your needs best.  Our VIP plan offers monthly or annual subscriptions.

Memberships range from free to $197 per year – again, depending on which membership level you choose. Check our site regularly for any membership special deals!

Commission, transaction or listing fees*

You are not charged commission fees as a member on the Bushfire Support plan or Flood Support plan for Spend With Us, only a minimal payment processing fee to cover the cost of fees charged by PayPal, or by our BNPL payment provider if a buyer checks out using that payment method. The payout amounts you receive from a sale will be less the amount charged by the PayPal payment gateway, at 2.6% + $0.30 per order or 5% + $0.30 per order if a buyer pays using the Buy Now Pay Later option.

* Please Note: Flood Support plan and Bushfire Support plan members have No Transaction Fees on orders (except for products listed in the Alcoholic Beverages category and subcategories which have a 10% transaction fee applied regardless of membership plan). 

VIP and Essential Plan members will have a 5% transaction fee on orders once a seller has made over $100 in sales.  This is in addition to any payment gateway fees, as mentioned above. 

No. Prices are subject to change without notice.
Your membership will automatically renew for another 12 months unless you let us know in writing or discontinue your payment option prior to your anniversary date. If you decide not to renew your membership, your store will automatically be reverted back to our Essentials Plan (our free plan) until such time as you renew your membership.

Memberships are non-refundable. If you are unsure about joining, sign up for free to join the Essentials Plan to test the platform out before upgrading.

You can initiate a subscription cancellation at any time and you will not be billed further, however the changes to your account will not take effect until the end of your billing cycle. You will retain full access to all included features during that time.

Yes. If you on the Essentials Plan or the VIP Plan you can change your plan. However, you are unable to downgrade your plan within your 12 months of membership.  Please contact us at [email protected] to action plan changes.

99% of memberships are pre-approved within 24 hours. However, if purchased on a weekend, then the time may be longer due to admins only working minimal hours on the weekend. If you have been waiting longer than 24 hours, please send us an email at [email protected]

Spend With Us – Buy From a Bush Business now have a packaged liquor licence and can allow liquor based businesses to sell Alcoholic Beverages as long as they meet our terms and conditions.

All products listed in the Alcoholic Beverages category and subcategories will incur a 10% transaction fee regardless of the membership plan.

Yes. If you are struggling to get your store up and running or to add your products, please send an enquiry through the contact page and one of our team will get back to you within a short period of
time to assist.

Please make sure to include any delivery/shipping prices or policies on your product listing.
SHIPPING FEES – Shipping can either be included into your product price to keep things simple, or you can set shipping rates by zone or weight. Please check the shipping setup instructions under your Instructions Tab on your Store Manager.

VIP Membership FAQ's

Make sure you have joined the Spend With Us – Buy From a Bush Business Facebook group:

Once you have purchased your VIP membership, you will be added to the Spend With Us – Buy From a Bush Business as a pre-approved contributor to the that group.

This means that you can post into that group up to twice a day, within the rules of the group. Click here to familiarise yourself with the rules of the group.

  • Make sure you use the #spendwithusseller hashtag if you have a Spend WIth Us store with products in and include your Spend With Us store url in your posts so we can cross-promote your posts too!
  • You can post videos.
  • You can post twice a day in the BFABB Facebook group.
  • You can post on weekends (our busiest time).
  • If you are posting in the group and your posts are going to admin for approval, contact us to let us know which Facebook profile to pre-approve as part of your VIP benefits.

As a VIP member you get the following extra benefits on our website and on our Buy From a Bush Business Facebook group.

  • Premium BFABB Facebook Group advertising privileges – promote your products to over 325,000+ members: Pre-approval posting, Post Twice a day, Video posting, Post at weekends (the busiest time for engagement).
  • Featured products – add your products to our Featured Products category so they show up on our homepage and first in search results.
  • Featured business on website front page.
  • Featured business on front page hero header *
  • Business featured in newsletter, blog article and/or podcast interview *
  • Premium marketing of your business and products.

* It’s our promise that you will receive these features AT LEAST ONCE during a 12 month membership – terms and conditions apply.

Front page featured businesses and products are shown randomly to each individual website user to maximise rotation and viewing of your products and stores.

VIP members will have a 5% transaction fee on orders.

Membership subscriptions are non-refundable. Renewal email notifications are sent out 10 days and 2 days prior to renewal.  Please ensure you have [email protected] set as a safe contact so emails don’t go to junk mail.

Payment Processing Fees
On ALL Membership plans, we do pass on to sellers the payment processing fees charged per order by PayPal and our Credit Card and BNPL provider which will depend on payment method chosen by customer at checkout. For more information on our Payment Processing Fees please click here: View Fees

Either. You may join the Facebook as yourself using your personal profile, or as your business. If you choose your name, please ensure you have notified us of your Facebook name, so we know who to pre-approve!
