Our Farm. Our Sheep. Our Wool. Our Story.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Leroy Mac Designs are Rodney and Rebecca McErvale from Lexton, Victoria. A Fourth Generation merino wool grower and his Melbourne born wife.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
They are the ONLY company in Australia that we know of who are using the wool off their very own sheep to make machine knitted and machine washable PURE Australian merino blankets and beanies from their very own farm.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
FULL traceability from farm to fashion.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
On the 20th of December 2019, they lost 95% of their main farm, along with 300 sheep and 27 kms of fencing, to a bushfire that evacuated the township of Lexton, Victoria.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“It has been absolutely heart breaking to see how broken my husband has been and to feel so helpless in being able to do anything for him.”
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Leroy Mac Designs hope you love their products as much as they do. The products are their blood, sweat and tears, and after trying for FIVE years to work out HOW they could use their own wool off of their own farm, they finally found a way, and are SO proud of all that they have achieved, and how AMAZING their products are.
