Abaca Fiber Collage Passport Jacket
Only 1 left in stock
These passport jackets are made from Abaca Fiber also known as Manila Hemp from which rope is made. The tree looks a lot like a banana tree but doesn’t produce fruit. They grow in Ecuador, Costa Rica and South East Asia. The fiber is treated with an organic substance to make it tear resistant. Machine stitched along the edges and then coated with an acid free sealer which adds strength and gives it a water resistant finish. Each passport jacket is unique. Only one of each design made. For further designs check out the Madwax and Eco on Facebook or send a message and I will put together a catalog.
