Each of the 15 pieces of the pendant is cast in 925Ag Sterling Silver or Bronze, total length 7.5cm extending to 5.3cm width
7 double links looking like swivels attached to an open tube with Viking spiral decoration,
carrying 7 bell shapes, believed to ward off evil or have been used in Medieval times to attach several threaded bead hangings.
Treasured hand-carved bone sewing needles were wrapped in a piece of cloth and stuck into the tube, which firmly held it in place and were always at hand as sewing kit.
The pendant is attached in three places to a doubled flat black leather strip with adjustable knot closure.
