Bringenbrong is an area in the Biggara Valley where the Swampy Plains River meets the Mighty Murray. Historically, upstream of Bringenbrong is known as the Indi River. ‘Indi’ is believed to be derived from an indigenous word for ‘you’.

It is the border crossing in the Upper Murray from Corryong to Khancoban, and home of the of the Giant Crayfish! It’s a great stop for a photo opportunity, and you can even open and close his claws. Keep an eye out on your visit to the Upper Murray for the Murray Cod, The Bogong Moth, and others on the roads and river crossings in the region.
