How unique is this pink and pale purple ice dyed rope. Ask me to recreate this colour combo and I may never be able to do it, thus is the ice dyeing adventure, so this may be your only chance to get yourself this unique decorative bowl. Here I’ve used this beautifully natural rope which I’ve blocked sewn finishing with a dyed rope trim – prefer this one or the colours the opposite way round, I have them both in store. This sturdy medium sized coiled rope bowl is finished with a smart wooden button. There is something really beautiful about natural cotton rope coiled round and round, it’s mesmerizing. And something even more beautiful seeing this lovely play on pinks and the palest of purples dancing around the bowl. Plus I’ve used Australian made rope, got to love that!

HOW IT’S MADE
The base and body of the bowl is sewn using plain natural cotton rope. Then I’ve moved to rope that has been ice dyed by me resulting in a watery colour play of pinks and pale purple which dapples and dances as the rope winds around the top of the bowl, with the natural beauty of the rope shining through. The machine stitch gives it a sturdy finish and makes for a versatile bowl. It’s soft and won’t scratch the surface that it’s placed on, no sharp edges, and looks really natural suiting any decor.

THE ALL IMPORTANT SIZE
The rope bowl is approx 22cm in diameter across the top, reaching approx 7.5cm high. Being a handmade item the sizes may vary ever so slightly, but all care has been taken to duplicating items as closely as possible where multiple sets are made.
