The Dara Celtic Knot is made up of intertwined lines with no beginning or end.
“Dara” means oak tree in Gaelic and the design has been created to display the intricacies of the root system of an oak tree.
It is a symbol of strength, power, wisdom and endurance and has been hand carved into timber by Mick.

This carving is designed to be hung on the wall or stand on its own.

Stain: Teak with clear ultra gloss varnish

Carvings by Mick ~ each carving is made by hand in Ganmain NSW and is therefore a unique piece of art. Each piece of timber is individually selected for the design and is crafted using a combination of scroll saw, hand filing, hand sanding and finally staining and varnishing by hand. A minimum of 35 hours of work and care is put into creating each piece of art.
