Oilskin / Waxed Cotton being a waterproof fabric needs reproofing every few washes using a mixture of oil and wax known as Ducksback.

Directions for use:

  • Make sure oilskin is clean. You can hand wash with a little wool wash using cold to warm water or brush clean using a damp cloth. Make sure the oilskin has dried naturally and is warm before reproofer is applied to the garment.
  • Remove the lid and sit tin in 1inch of hot water until reproofer softens.
  • Alternatively to using boiled water -> heat coat and tin up in front of a heater until Ducksback melts then apply. Hairdryers can help speed up the process.

WARNING handle carefully as to not scold yourself.

  • Use a soft cloth, sponge or paintbrush to apply reproofer to the garment. Use sparingly and work into fabric.
  • Place the garment into a warm location where fabric can be left to soak up reproofer.

Oilskin / Waxed Cotton usually needs reproofing every 2-3 washes.

Contents: paraffin, micro wax, slack wax, drying oil, and solvent

Keep out of reach of children

Avoid contact with eyes. In case of scolding rinse the scolded area thoroughly with cold water and seek medical advice.

12 Working day turn around on orders containing a Custom made dog coat from date of payment within Australia.

Orders < $35 = $15 Charge

Orders <$35 = $15 charge

$36 - $199 = $30 Charge

When purchasing from outside of Australia there may be added taxes to pay your country. This will be at your expense.

Refund Policy

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

A refund will be provided if there is a fault in the product or you receive the incorrect item.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed or a product replacement sent.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable) 
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. 
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Make sure your details, explanation and copy of return postage charges are provided with item.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. If your item is deemed eligible to receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be reimbursed to you with your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Missing items: A refund will not be given if an item goes missing or is damaged in transit. Tracking number will be provided so that you can sort issue out with shipping company.
