Florence the Blanket Bear and her friend Peanut the Mouse were my first colourful designs for 2022, made in January just after New Years. Seated approx. 30cm.

Florence is a medium sized bear, a bit under 30cm high when seated. I designed her free-hand (cut out the pattern, without following a design that I had pre-drawn on paper) so she is definitely one of a kind, as I wouldn’t be able to replicate her even if I tried! I’ve used soft pastel woollen blanket, (the kind that reminds me of staying at grandmas when we were kids).
I have hand stitched her mostly, with some machine stitch. Peanut the Mouse was made on my machine, with hand-stitch detail.
Florence has black glass eyes (not suitable for children under 3), and needle sculpted features. I have used alcohol ink pens to give highlights to her legs, face and body. She is gently weighted in her tummy and in her arms. This makes her pose nicely, along with being 5-way jointed (head, arms, legs).
I like to reuse and upcycle as many materials as possible. Florence has recycled clean cushion stuffing which happily saves a little space in landfill.

Small – $9 Australia wide, $15 everywhere else
Medium – $15 Australia wide, $25 everywhere else

Extra Large – due to each of my extra large artworks being a different size, shape and weight – its best if I can work with you to figure out the cheapest, fastest and safest way to send you the creation you’ve adopted.
Shipping Policy
Due to each of my artworks being different size, shape and weight - its best if I can work with you initially to find out where you are located. From there I can figure out the cheapest, fastest and safest way to send you the creation you’ve adopted.
As a general guide, I will try to send smaller bears express post which is between $9 and $15 Australia wide in an express satchel or box under 3kg.
Larger items, over that weight can cost between $15 and $25 depending on your location.
I always try to get your order in the mail within one working week - or sooner if I can. I do work full time around my hobby so sometimes it can just be a couple days for me to get to the post office.
Refund Policy
I will always be open to discussions about refunds if you find there is a major fault or breakage with something you have ordered and there is no way to fix it. Each piece I create is also dear to me, and I would be sad to know it is broken or ruined or unloved for any reason.
Cancellation / Return / Exchange Policy
Its really hard with individual items to offer an exchange because I only ever make one of a kind designs. However, if you wish to return your purchase, of course I will be happy to accept your decision. The cost of the return postage will be up to you to organise, and once I have received the item back in its original condition, then I will ensure your refund.
