Lemonchella of the River Gums. She stands at over 1 metre high (118cm long and 65cm high when seated), and I have used ink to highlight her needle sculpted face. Her nose is waxed thread, and she has twinkling glass eyes.
Description
I found this beautiful length of upholstery fabric at a second-hand shop late in 2021. Without warning, a beautiful tall bear design began to form in my mind.
The result is Lemonchella of the River Gums. She stands at over 1 metre high, and I have used ink to highlight her needle sculpted face. Her nose is waxed thread, and she has twinkling glass eyes.
She has mock-suede fabric foot pads and I have used recycled fabric scraps and other recycled clean fill to firmly stuff her legs and arms – with just enough flex so that limbs are pose-able.
She has a peaceful character, and as she sits looking out over the river, I am reminded of the time I need to put aside to do more contemplating and more of ‘nothing’.
She would be a delightful addition to any household.

Shipping Policy
Due to each of my artworks being different size, shape and weight - its best if I can work with you initially to find out where you are located. From there I can figure out the cheapest, fastest and safest way to send you the creation you’ve adopted.
As a general guide, I will try to send smaller bears express post which is between $9 and $15 Australia wide in an express satchel or box under 3kg.
Larger items, over that weight can cost between $15 and $25 depending on your location.
I always try to get your order in the mail within one working week - or sooner if I can. I do work full time around my hobby so sometimes it can just be a couple days for me to get to the post office.
Refund Policy
I will always be open to discussions about refunds if you find there is a major fault or breakage with something you have ordered and there is no way to fix it. Each piece I create is also dear to me, and I would be sad to know it is broken or ruined or unloved for any reason.
Cancellation / Return / Exchange Policy
Its really hard with individual items to offer an exchange because I only ever make one of a kind designs. However, if you wish to return your purchase, of course I will be happy to accept your decision. The cost of the return postage will be up to you to organise, and once I have received the item back in its original condition, then I will ensure your refund.
