Featuring water colour sketches by Matilda Smith (1854-1926) She was a botanical artist who worked for Curtis’s Botanical Magazine for over 40 years and she became the first artist to depict New Zealand’s flora in depth, was the first official artist of the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew and the second woman to become an associate of the Linnaean Society.
These beautiful images have been made available by the generous Biodiversity Heritage Library open access project. Each image is digitally printed onto organic cotton sateen, cut into little flags with a raw and stitched edge and sewn into a flag garland.
The prints are from Vol. 146 of Curtis’s Botanical Magazine 1920.

We mainly ship via Australia Post, however on occasion we may use courier or delivery agents to be more cost effective to our customers (we hate shipping costs as much as you do!). We will provide tracking details to you via your Spend With Us order on the day your item is shipped.
We do not accept any responsiblity for the carrier's treatment of parcels or timeliness of delivery - please note that we will always pack all of our parcels with love and care in the expectation that you will receive them just as we've sent them.
