This lovely Watercolour is a Botanical Painting which means it is true to life and true to size. It was painted by Chris Boughen. Her work has been exhibited in local shows and Floressence, the Annual art exhibition of the Botanical Artists’ Society of QLD. In 2015 Chris received an Emerging Artist Award and in 2018 an Honorary Mention at the Daphne Young Watercolour Art Exhibition in Armidale. Chris achieves a depth of colour rarely seen in Watercolours. This one is of the popular Yesterday today & tomorrow shrub which has the three different coloured flowers which change each day.
