The classic “We should get sushi, Carol” in a candle

Candle is a 285 gram scented soy candle 

All candles are 100% soy wax and hand poured using only quality materials I have sourced here in Australia. The candles come in solid glass white or black containers with wooden air tight lids

Each has a burn time of approx 50-60hrs

Refunds are accepted for faulty or damaged goods only. Please see below for further clarification on each product category:

Shipping

  • FREE shipping for all Australian orders over $120
  • Flat rate of $11 for all orders under $120
  • International shipping prices are calculated at checkout
  • Express Post options are available but please allow 3-4 days processing time on top of postage time
  • Once items leave here, we unfortunately have no control over them. We can track the parcels but cannot guarantee delivery times
  • Processing times for all orders are APPROX 4 – 5 business days. You will receive tracking info once your order is ready to be posted. Please keep an eye out for this and use that tracking before emailing asking us to track it.
  • PLEASE BE AWARE THAT DUE TO COVID, DELIVERIES TO WESTERN AUSTRALIA ARE TAKING LONGER THAN EXPECTED. PLEASE KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR TRACKING LINK AND CONTACT AUSTRALIA POST OR ARAMEX DIRECT IF ANY ISSUES.
  • Any items damaged through transit can be claimed through Australia Post or the courier depending on which your order was sent. Please email [email protected] within 24hrs of your order being delivered in order to lodge a claim. You will need to keep the box, packaging etc as is and the damaged product. Everything sent is insured for up to $100 value. If unsure please email [email protected] and I’ll help you lodge the claim.

International taxes & customs charges

International customers may be required to pay sales tax, duty and/or Customs charges. All Taxes and customs charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the cost of the order or delivery charge. Taxes and customs charges differ depending on the country and state of the shipping address. We suggest contacting your local customs office if you are unsure of the applicable taxes and customs fees that are relevant to you.

The Sassery is not responsible for any additional taxes and customs charges that are requested during the shipment of your order. Customs authorities require by law that we include the value and description of goods directly on the package. If you refuse to pay any additional fees, your package will be directed back to us and you will be refunded the cost of your order minus any customisation charges and any extra shipping charges incurred to us by the shipping company.

Requests for change of address must be made directly with The Sassery via phone or email prior to your order being shipped.   • Custom orders cannot be cancelled or changed once order placed and paid for. Please make sure you are mindful of the space allowed for your custom text. If you are unsure please email [email protected] and I will gladly help you out before purchasing.

Candles and Melts

  • Refunds are not accepted due to change of mind or not liking the scent. I am happy to swap to another scent for you so long as your candle is not a custom design and that you are happy to pay return postage.
  • Refunds are accepted for faulty or damaged goods only
  • Candles processing time is currently approx 3 business days. This may increase at times due to volumes of orders and seasonal holidays etc. IF you need your item by a certain date please email [email protected] and request it be sent ASAP.

Shirts

  • All shirts are made to order.
  • Please double check measurements and make sure the shirt will fit.
  • Refunds will only be issued for damaged items
  • Refunds will not be issued because an item does not fit
  • I am happy to exchange shirts to another size if they don’t fit, but please note that buyer must return the incorrect sized shirts first and also pay return postage. New correct size shirts will only be posted once incorrect sizes are received and return postage received. Shirts must be returned in brand new, re-sellable condition. Any marks or stains etc will void the return.

Afterpay Orders & Refunds:

  • If you completed your sale via Afterpay and request a refund, you will be refunded the total amount minus a 6% merchant fee. Afterpay charges us this per sale and we do not get this refunded on cancelled orders.
