I am a Muralist, Pet Portrait Artist and Sculptor from Martinsville which is a rural community at the foot of the Watagan Mountains NP in Lake Macquarie, NSW. I have a small business which I run from home and I attend the Handmade in the Hunter artisan markets at Kevin Sobel Wines in the Hunter Valley vineyards on weekends. Like most bush communities, we were threatened by bushfires at the end of 2019 and into 2020, but luckily we escaped any loss of life or homes. But with 2020 came the end to market life and suddenly my business became entirely online! It was at this time I joined the Buy From A Bush Business FB page which was my lifeline! What a wonderful community and what humbling support it provided for small rural businesses such as mine. So this year I decided to take it one step further and open my shop on Spend With Us so I can continue to showcase my new creations. I have returned to market life which I have missed dearly, and would love you to pop in and say hello if you are ever visiting the beautiful vineyards and the town of Pokolbin which is where you will find my stall in this beautiful 100% handmade market.
