Hi, I’m Karen, the face and creator behind Knots With Style.

I am a Mum to 2 beautiful daughter’s and a Nanny to 4 beautiful grandchildren. I am a wife to a very supportive husband of 38 years. I work 3 days a week in my day job and I create on my free days in between my family life and spending quality time with my grandchildren.

I began my love of macrame as a teenager back in the 70’s making plant hangers and owls out of wool and jute.

Fast forward to 2018 and I found my love for macrame again. I have always been crafty, dabbling in many different crafts over the years. I always need to be doing something creative with my hands.

I love Macrame and find it very therapeutic. I like to keep my designs simple but elegant. My greatest achievement at the moment are my beautiful Trees of Life, designed by my self, and keeping me very busy. I love that I can create pieces that people love and enjoy and treasure in their homes for years to come. I am thankful for all the purchases, support, likes and shares that allow me to continue to do what I love to do.
