Michelini Wines (Est.1999) is an family owned & run a winery in North East Victoria. Our cellar door is located in Myrtleford a beautiful small town in the Alpine Valley. Our Vineyard itself is just further down the valley at the foothills of Mt.Buffalo in a place called The Buckland Valley (not far outside of Bright).
Our wine is primarily made up of Italian Varietals including Teroldego, Sangiovese & Marzemino which is a nod to my families Italian heritage – we also make a few of the classics everyone knows and loves.
In 2020 we were severly impacted by bushfires and unfortunately this is not our first endeavour with bushfires having being through it many a time including 2003 & 2006. However this year has been the worst, with the fires being so widespread across Vic & NSW. The tourism industry has effectively been non-existent. At our busiest time of year we had to close our Cellar Door for approximately a month due to Evacuation notices and lack of tourism. To rub salt into the wounds we lost our entire 2020 vintage due to smoke taint. We have only just recovered since our last smoke taint back in 2006.

On the optimistic side we do have stock of back vintages and I ask you to please purchase a bottle or two to help us rebuild, or if you are a liquor business owner please stock our wines.

Shipping Policy

All shipping is via Australia Post and parcel tracking information will be provided.

When will I receive my order?

You can expect to receive your order within 3-10 business days of placing your order. Delivery times may be subject to stock availability. Please contact us if you do not receive your order after 10 days.

Covid-19 delivery update: Australia Post are experiencing increased volumes, and as a result, you might experience a delay in delivery.  Please check the latest Australia Post announcements on COVID 19 delivery delays in your area here.

What payment types do you accept?

We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, American Express or any other payment method we advise from time to time.

Are my financial details secure on your site?

Credit card details are not stored by Michelini Wines. Credit card details are held by our payment gateway service provider.

Where do you deliver to?

We deliver Australia wide, except to: designated Dry Areas, areas outside of the delivery network of our couriers and to places where we are not licensed to supply alcohol.

How much does delivery cost?

Free shipping applies to Wine Club member orders and also to orders greater than A$250.
Orders are charged by weight. Orders 19kg or 12 bottles are $30.00. 

* Please note that we are unable to deliver goods to locations excluded from Australia Post network. If you wish to obtain an estimate of the delivery cost for your area, please contact us.

Can I cancel my order? 

You may cancel your order at any time before the payment for your order has been processed.

Can I authorise to leave my order if I’m not home? 

WARNING

Yes, you can have your delivery left outside your home or with another person if you cannot be present to receive your order. At the online checkout you can provide special instructions on where you want your parcel left. A person under 18 years of age cannot receive the delivery on your behalf and we reserve the right to refuse delivery of your order to a person aged under 18 years (we may require satisfactory proof of age to be produced upon request). Michelini Wines is not responsible for any loss resulting from late delivery when satisfactory proof of age is not provided.

If delivery instructions haven’t been provided and you aren’t present to receive your order, then a calling card will be left with a phone number to call within 7 days to arrange a re-delivery.

Michelini Wines is not responsible for goods that are left unattended at your request, or goods that remain unclaimed as a result of failing to contact the carrier after receiving a calling card.

Refund Policy

How to cancel an order before it is shipped:

Contact us ASAP and we’ll cancel and refund right away.  If you cancel an order after we have shipped it we’ll process the refund once the stock has been recovered and is returned. This may take up to a three weeks because once a package has entered the postal system it can take some time for it to get turned around and sent back to us.

Cancellation / Return / Exchange Policy

If you are a consumer, you are entitled to certain statutory guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law with respect to our Goods.

In particular:

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to receive a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does amount to a major failure.

We’re all about long-term relationships at Michelini Wines, so please never hesitate to contact us if you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase. We offer full returns on orders for up to 60 days after purchase and a hassle-free returns process.

Please note:

  • We can’t accept returns of products that have label or other cosmetic damage
  • We don’t accept returns on Gift cards.
  • If it’s been more than 60 days since your order we can’t accept a return.
  • We offer a very generous return policy because we love our customers and want to see you happy above all else. In saying that, we reserve the right to refuse if we think the policy is being taken advantage of unfairly
