Our Story
Story Book Cakes is located within the Darling Downs region of South East Queensland. Our small family business is run by my husband Mark and I.
Story Book Cakes originally started out in 2009 designing & baking custom cakes. This little home based business has been such a wonderful opportunity, as I have muscular dystrophy & use a wheelchair 95% of the day. So it allows us to be creative, earn a dollar & I can still receive the support I need from Mark . Which is such a blessing.
Over time it has evolved into creating our own decadent bake at home dessert range. This allows everyone on any budget to be able to enjoy an indulgent dessert from their own kitchen.
The whole process is still done by us from blending, bagging to sealing & sending.We are a little crazy. We do work some super long hours, but we have a huge passion for creating beautiful cakes, along with our boutique mixes.
