I’m sorry but I am away until 12th May & will not be able to post orders until 13th May.

I closed my lovely retail shop “Makers on Church St”, Geeveston, Tasmania at the end of March 2021. We had suffered two hard years with severe bushfires & COVID-19 really affecting our town.  Makers on Church St was all about supporting local artisans plus Tasmanian businesses – I am still able to do this working from home with my website Tasmanian Craft.

Tasmanian Craft has an extensive selection of handmade or Tasmanian designed products listed with many pieces you won’t find elsewhere.  I built up a strong rapport with my craft suppliers over the years & having this website means this can continue & help them out in turn as most do not have any other avenue to sell from, with many craft & retail shops closing after Covid-19.

Our wonderful range of Tasmanian or Australian made pure wool socks, scarves, beanies & accessories are just perfect for the colder days & make beautiful gifts.  We also have a fabulous range of possum fur & merino wool gloves & socks – made in New Zealand for a Tasmanian company that has been in business for over 100 years – just the best for warmth!

Shipping Policy

SHIPPING POLICY
Orders will be shipped via AUSTRALIA POST.

Shipping rates on this site apply within Australia only. We offer FREE shipping on all orders over $150. For orders less than $150 there will be a flat rate regular shipping fee of just $9.95

Some products listed are EXCLUDED from FREE SHIPPING and will say so in the item description.
All packages will be delivered via Australia Post.

You will receive an email containing your tracking number for all orders within 48hrs. Items that specify FREE POSTAGE will not have a tracking number.

We offer Free Gift Wrapping – please let us know if you wish to utilise this service.

All orders will be shipped within 48 hrs (weekdays) of your order being placed – orders placed at weekends or public holidays will be sent on the next business day.

Please allow 7-10 days for regular postage.


Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with your purchase from Tasmanian Craft.

Due to the majority of our products being handmade in small numbers a replacement is unfortunately not always possible. 

However if for any reason your item/s arrive defective or damaged we will happily help you through the exchange or refund process under the following conditions.

  • All clothing item(s) must be in original condition and packaging: unworn, unwashed and all tags attached.
  • Contact must be made & item/s returned to Tasmanian Craft within 10 days. 
  • Return shipping method and associated costs are the responsibility of the customer when an exchange has been requested.
  • Return delivery costs for faulty or incorrectly supplied items will be the responsibility of Tasmanian Craft.
