Your mug for mum is food, microwave and dishwasher safe. Like any handmade item hand washing is advised for longevity, although I must admit it’s always the dishwasher for me. 

Your ceramic mug gift is hand thrown on the wheel meaning each piece to be lovingly unique, which is the best part!

– Measuring roughly 7cm H & 8cm W at the rim.

Description

Each Coco Flamingo creation is meticulously crafted by my own two hands, ensuring a unique and heartfelt touch. Let me take you through the labor of love that goes into bringing these creations to life.

It all begins with preparing the clay through wedging and careful measurement. As my launch collection is wheel-thrown, I swiftly move to the wheel for shaping. After a few days of drying, I return to the wheel for final touch-ups. Patience is key as the pieces then dry for 1-2 weeks. The next step involves a bisque firing in the kiln, lasting approximately 24 hours. Once the kiln cools down, each item is painstakingly sanded. I then personally apply glaze using a variety of techniques, including dipping and intricate hand painting. The final firing, lasting around 24 hours, takes place before meticulously sanding the bottoms for a smooth touch. Finally, the items are expertly photographed and made available for purchase.
This entire process requires dedication and typically spans 4-5 weeks, ensuring each Coco Flamingo creation is a testament to artistry and devotion.

Shipping Policy

I offer a flat rate shipping and handling fee of $15.00 throughout Australia. This covers the cost of shipping and packaging. Each piece has been made carefully with a lot of love. I take great care in packaging and send your items so they safely arrive at your door as quickly as possible. 

Items are dispatched approximately 3-4 days after purchase. 

Refund Policy
