Description
This canvas was such a pleasure to paint , thanks to the beautiful image supplied by Jessica Jenney, a photographer from New York USA. She generously gave permission for me to paint her photograph of an Angel Trumpet ( brugmansia).
The background is not basic black, but a mixture of browns, blue and purple in some cases ( as well as black as the eye progress outward), which creates a deepness as I wanted the flower to glow. The painting is dramatic ,certainly a statement piece and of all my paintings ,has received the most lovely feedback and response.
